Multifunctional trekking shoes should be one thing above all: more comfortable and lighter than heavy mountain boots. This is especially true for easy tours in the low mountains, where lightweight hiking shoes such as the TUCANA GTX Ws can fully play their strengths. This means that the half-height models can be laced precisely thanks to movably mounted eyelets, are significantly less weight due to the split leather/textile mix and provide good grip with their outsole.

LOWA ELIKA PRO outsole

Characteristic of the Lowa Elika Pro sole is the technical sole profile for good grip. The two-component PU wedge provides optimal cushioning on long stages, while the pronounced heel edge proves to be comfortable when descending.

Gore-Tex

Whether during intense mountain sports or strolling in the city between warm cafes and cold streets, Gore-Tex shoes keep your feet pleasantly dry at all times. They are permanently waterproof and offer optimised breathability.

TWO ZONE LACING

Thanks to the two-zone lacing, the forefoot and shaft have separately adjustable cutting zones. This allows the shoe to be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot.

LOWA FLEX

So that each individual eyelet is flexible, the lacing parts on which they are attached are attached individually. These are made from soft border leathers or textile materials to avoid pressure points. Thanks to the flexible arrangement of the eyelets, individual adjustment of the lacing is possible without generating too much pressure at individual points. Nevertheless, the tongue is optimally edged.

MINIMAL SEAMS

By using large shaft parts, seams are avoided. This offers a high level of comfort.

MODERATELY STIFF
